👩🏼🍳 ABOUT THE CHEF:
Meghann started her journey over 20 years ago graduating with an associates degree in Pastry Arts. After graduating from Culinary School, Meghann moved to St. Petersburg, FL and trained for 8 years at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club. With many opportunities to advance her career and continued education, Meghann found herself back in Pittsburgh.
After being a part of the opening team at Cioppino and helping it grow as the Executive Pastry Chef for over 12 years, Meghann had to get creative with work during the “red phase” at the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020. A week into the pandemic she received a text message from her brother(owner of Nobby’s Pizzeria) in Scott Township – “Want to start an emergency quarantine bakery”. The bread shelves in the grocery store were empty and staying essential with her baking meant way more than she could imagine.
Nobby’s Bakery has turned into a unique business opportunity and she is excited for what the future holds.
