Come out to the winery to learn the basics of pysanky ( pa san key) – the East Central European craft of Easter eggs.
Michael Yanchak, a local egg artist, will teach some of the basic techniques and guide you through your project.
This will be a very basic introduction into this craft and the evening will be very casual.
Those participating will need to bring the following materials:
1. One raw room temperature egg
2. A tea towel or a dish towel
3. A pencil – mechanical, or regular sharpened
4. A cardboard egg carton.
Any other materials will be supplied at the class.
Registration is $35.00 per person.
There will be charcuterie and other snack items available for sale at the winery.
